Alexandra has extensive experience in the finance industry spanning over 25 years. She has worked in senior roles within international financial institutions gaining a vast understanding of alternative asset class investment funds and structured product management.
In addition to her responsibilities associated with the Impact Capital team, Ms. McOran-Campbell runs her own Business Consultancy company, Campbell Coyle Associates; advising on Fund Structuring, Due Diligence procedures, Investment Management, fund-raising and Exit Strategy amongst other things.
Alexandra started her career in finance in Southern Africa, as Director of Investment for a large media company, Vision Africa Pty Limited (www.visionafricapty.co.za ), specialising in film-finance; taking many projects from development to commercialisation.
Upon arrival in the UK, Alexandra joined Atlas Venture LLP (www.atlasventure.com), an international venture capital company investing in Information Technology and Life Sciences. Here, Alexandra gained significant experience in client relationship management, fund-raising and subsequent investment deal-flow.
Alexandra then focused her entrepreneurial activities on the emerging market of renewable energy under the Kyoto protocol. Working closely with Green Ventures International Limited (www.GreenVenturesInternational.com), specialising in hydroelectric projects, to assist in providing project financing, and work within the carbon credit trading market.
Alexandra has also been instrumental in developing the financial model for other alternative energy product providers including Four Winds Capital Management (www.fourwindscm.com), who have a portfolio of global natural resources funds, investing across waste, water, timber, metal, and agriculture.
Alexandra has since worked for Gateway Consortium International (now Haven Operations www.havenops.com ), a leading Fund Distribution company in the role of Operations Director, and as a consultant advising on fund-raising for Carisbrooke Investments, a UK based large-scale property developer.
Alexandra was subsequently a Director with Sapphire Capital Partners LLP (www.sapphirecapitalpartnersllp.co.uk), responsible for property advisory work on alternative asset class funds in Romania.
Most recently, Alexandra has been liaising with the UK Trade and Industry Department on a consultancy basis to assist in the promotion of trade within Commonwealth regions in order to facilitate UK SME trade.
