An entrepreneur based in the Washington DC area, William Flynn has over 30 years experience in Telecommunications, Defense Technology and International Business to include renewable energy start ups in South Asia.

Currently, William is a principal in a multi-million dollar joint venture to develop Hydro Electric power for sale to India. Recently, William sold the cyber security company that he founded in 1998. The company WareOnEarth Communications had in excess of 350 employees worldwide and was ranked in the Top 10 Cyber security companies in 2008.

In addition to his recent accomplishments, in 1994, William was one of the founding members of the telecom hardware company Yurie Systems Inc., which went from start-up to IPO in three years and sold to Lucent for US $1.1B in 1998.

William Flynn retired from the US Navy with the rank of Commander, after 8 active and 12 reserve years of service in naval aviation. Commander Flynn had multiple deployments onboard USS Nimitz aircraft carrier with his aviation squadron VAW 124.

Mr. Flynn graduated from the University of South Carolina highly ranked School of Journalism. He received his MBA in 1991 from Averett University in Virginia.
