David Dunlap originally founded Impact Capital in 1996 as a spin off of PVH Fund Managers Limited, an off shore fund focused on micro and small cap Regulation S investment transactions. Formed originally as a P.I.P.E. (Private Investment in Public Entities) company, he led Impact Capital's foray into the private equity sector of investment banking and strategic advisory services for start-up and early stage technology companies in early 2000.
