Mr. Peters joined Impact in 2010. Mr. Peters employs his unique experiences to the firm’s expansion into the business and financial advisory sector. He focuses this operational expertise on investment opportunities in technology, software, energy and China.
Mr. Peters' credentials extend beyond his extensive experience in directing start-up and rapid growth organizations in senior executive positions including business development, sales, finance, operations, technology and marketing. He brings a seasoned balance of industry and capital fund raising expertise for emerging growth and entrepreneurial companies. He has a proven track record of success in new market identification and strategic market positioning, including more than 25 years of business expertise in the China and Asia markets.
Mr. Peters has a keen understanding of technology, capital markets, and acquisitions and to date, has raised over $400+million dollars in private equity and debt financing. Mr. Peters is the former Founder and President/Co-CEO of Bluestreak Network, a technology company he co-founded in 2002, whose clients included cable/ satellite television operators and mobile phone operators throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. Prior to Bluestreak, Mr. Peters was a senior executive at Source Media Inc., where he spearheaded business development and forged key deals in the cable, wireless and technology sectors, domestically and internationally. He holds a BA from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana.
